Hay hay!
I'm so, so, SO excited to be in the BB Defiance house.
The first night of the game played out like usual - everyone introduced themselves, started to chit chat, and we all got to pretend that nominations weren't 24 hours away.
Now...let's talk about this cast, shall we? I'm happy to report that NOBODY stuck out in a bad way. Usually you get talking to people in these games and you just feel the energy get sucked out of you with every key stroke because it's so flipping hard but not this time. Nope. A+ casting, Chenbot and Arisa.
I have this lovely memory wall beside me so I'm going to go down the list and give you a review of each of the people who will be making a mess of the kitchen, snoring in my ear, and clogging the toilet this summer.
First up we have NICK. Honestly??? Nick is amazing. He was the first person to message me and we instantly clicked. He's definitely not a snoozeguest. I told him I was getting good vibes from our convo and we instantly decided to make an alliance. Done. Good. Love it.
Davonne wasn't online last night.
I sent #TeamJupiter to Caleb yesterday and he didn't respond. It's premiere night and you're going to be a recluse!? Ugh.
Casey started the avatar conspiracy. He was like, "Britney!!! Your avatar looks different than everyone else's" and obviously I wasn't paying attention to that so I go investigate and he's right. My avatar background didn't match the rest. So then he suggests that maybe Laura had already chosen the 3 planet X people, which made some sense, but when I checked the board the only other person who matched mine was Kevin. Casey even asked me at one point if I was a twist or America's Player!
If your choice of avatar f's me over I swear to god, Julie Chen!!!!
Princess Victoria was great to talk to. She's got them social skills and I think we'll get along. She also likes Nick...she kept mentioning to me that him and her were watching some Kathy Hillis video. A compilation of how tragic she was in literally every competition. And she mentioned the fact that HE was watching WITH her at least three times, which leads me to believe she was hinting at a possible threesome? We'll see!
I think I caught Jessie at a bad time because he was taking a really long time to respond to my messages. And then I was running around trying to get ready for bed and it was just a mess. Hopefully we'll have better conversations tomorrow.
Our HoH was MIA last night! But I sent her a message on the forum because you need to at least TRY to reach out in the first couple days. How bad would it be if I just sat on my ass and assumed she'd find someone else to nominate? I'd deserve to go home. We had a small exchange which is fine for now but I'm looking forward to getting to know her better.
Jen's on my team so I guess I have to love her? She seems fine but we didn't have a very long conversation or anything. I need to fix that ASAP. But honestly I'm more concerned with talking to people who AREN'T on my team because that's where the danger lies. If I can make some ties on the other sides, then my chances of being nominated plummet.
Mr. Late to the party, Kevin, showed up right as I was heading off so no comment here.
The conversation between Rachel and I was quick but left a good impression. She made a few jokes about my team and how everyone else did AWFUL. She's going to be feisty, that much is obvious right now.
I don't even know what to say about Steve? He was hinting at an alliance and obviously I'm not going to be the worst Big Brother player in Defiance history and flat out refuse but I don't know what to think. He made it seem like he was approaching me because I'm pretty but who's to say he isn't approaching all the girls? Who's to say playing the awkward, innocent, lovable puppy isn't his strategy? Whatever, at least he isn't against me.
Jason seems very personable. He didn't stay on for long but he's someone I definitely need to keep my eye on. I've heard a few people say they haven't had a chance to talk to him so maybe it's time to snatch him up first.
Alison is forever going to be remembered as the player who got one flipping cent in the first competition of the summer. We're going to have trivia questions about game details later on and NOBODY is ever going to forget that tragic event. As a person, though? She's cool. I like her.
Jace left to go get ice cream at like midnight yesterday. From McDonalds. What a life.
Renny was sweet! I think she was having trouble keeping up with the conversations last night but she seemed to be talking to me more than anyone. I'll have to use that to my advantage.
