Hi folks, it's Mama Day all up in here, the BB DEFIANCE SEASON 2 HOUSE!
While I'm so excited to be playing this game, I can't help but think of how many hours I'm going to lose from my life for doing it, but it's all gonna be worth it when I taste the win on my lips!
My strategy in this game is to play a pretty steady strategic game, don't wanna lay under the radar too much but at the same time I don't wanna be too OTT. So striking the perfect balance is going to be key to my success in this game. Right out of the gates, I'm seeing this teams twist, and I'm thinking this shit is great, this is my BLESSING because I can let my team do all the work and win the competitions, and I'mma just sit back, rest my feet up, sipping' martini's and watching all the drama go down. But no, Mama Day came to play and that's what she's gonna do.
So when I see the team twist, I'm thinking great. What can I do to twist this shit around to benefit me. What's blatantly obvious is that I should stick together with my fellow team Neptunes. So we make a group chat, and everyone is getting along well. But that isn't enough, so I'm thinking if we make a deal with literally any other team, it would prevent the likelihood of us being nominated literally by like half. So I pitch this to everyone, and they seem down. At first I was thinking we should pick Venus, because they're in power. I'm like, "We need to build real connections, not just pounce on them like wild cats shouting WANNA MAKE A DEAL!?" But now I'm thinking, that HOH was luck. So does it really matter if we chose another team? Not really. Also, Laura hasnt even showed face yet to anyone which is interesting. But I've made pretty good connections elsewhere in the house so far, which I'm sure will stand me in good stead.

So the more time I get, the more ideas I got flying in my ear and sticking in my head. I'm tryin' to think what allies are best to make at this early stage in this game, which allies are gonna get me FARTHER. And I'm thinkin, sure everyone's gonna rush to Venus because they're in power, and because of that they will be the power players, because they gon' be in the middle of every deal and they just gonna watch and think we fools for letting them slide on by like this is a vacation. Well that don't fly with Mama Day. So I'm thinking maybe it's smarter for us to side with the people who have the targets on their back. I assume Laura is gonna nominate two people from one team (and if she ain't, I'mma suggest it to her) because she don't want two teams coming after her all guns blazing. So if we talk to that team and suggest some sort of deal, they're gonna feel needy and dependent which makes them more likely to wanna be loyal. Sure, we might lose a player straight off the bat. But in the grand scheme of things, 8 person alliances ain't sustainable. So all us Neptunes gotta do is keep our asses of the block, and the real power players comin' out of this week will be us, not Venus as everyone would assume.

My reaction to today's nominations are simple - there is a God, and I'm thanking him dearly right now. Basically, Laura isn't an idiot. She targeted one team only - team Saturn, thankfully. And Neptune got off practically scot-free. I'm majorly kissing Laura's ass right now because she's in power and I'm not looking to be backdoored week one. So when I got picked for the veto competition, I'm like boo you needa win this shit and keep us neptunes SAFE. None of us are NOMINATED, we flying HIGH, we got this shit in the BAG, everyone on our team knows the PLAN we just gotta see it through, right? No. Damn Renny. Damn Renny picks this dumbass MUTINY and decides she gonna shove Kevin up on our team. And I'm just like...
DOES this move benefit ANYBODY? No. Does this move directly hinder ANYBODY? Yes. Renny's ass knew about our plan and she decided to switch it up and flip it on it's head, and I'mma tell you I'm not happy about this. Why in the hell would she do something like that? So, I'm seeing right through Renny's "nice" exterior at the moment, and I can tell her ass is also here to play and she gonna be using the dirty tactics that I don't fly for. So she better watch her damn back cause I'm on her like a hawk, I see the game she's playing. So, now I'm gonna need to rethink a strategy. But this is just a minor setback. I'd be thrilled if the veto was used and Renny was the replacement. It wouldn't be me to be the one to do it, but I'd love for that to happen, we'll just have to wait and see. |

I'm feeling pretty happy about how the veto competition redo went down. I actually feel pretty confident, sure 43 minutes is a long time, but that was definitely a hard competition and I'm not sure if anyone else will be able to beat it. If I wanted anyone to win over me, it would probably be Kevin. Simply because his raggedy ass is on our damn team now and if I need to win it and remove him, it could cause hassle with Laura. But it shouldn't be assumed that if I win, I'm saving Kevin. Because he hasn't spoken to me since premiere night, and I'm not gonna keep him just because he's on my team at the risk of pissing someone else off. Sure, the ideal situation would be to take him off and have all of Neptune safe for the week. But as long as he doesn't get evicted, we're still in a good position and as far as I'm aware, Jessie is Laura's target. Recently Caleb has been making more of an effort to talk to me which I guess is good.. It's funny though, me and Steve compared notes about who talks the most etc, and funnily enough the people who talk to me the least, talk to him the most and vice versa. So this is setting off alarm bells that perhaps I'm not being as sociable as I need to be and I need to work on that if I'm gonna be in the middle for any alliances and deals and the like. I feel safe this week, but I'mma just need a Neptune to win power next week so this girl can relax for a bit and let people come and make the effort to talk to me. Because all this small talk shit is just EXHAUSTING. I'm so ready for the games, the lies and the backstabbing to begin.
