The fast forward was a success.
Victoria exploded when she was put on the block and made it super easy to evict her. I thought it was stupid how she accused her own alliance of being in on some "master plan". Sorry to break it to you but you weren't that important in this game. Your nomination was because you didn't speak to Jason in almost a week.
Nick and Caleb both turned to me and asked what we should do. I could have convinced them to talk to Renny and sway her vote so we could have the votes to kick Angie out but decided against it, sending Victoria to the jury instead.
There were a few reasons I decided to do this:
1) Her attitude after being nominated was awful and showed me how much of a volatile player she is. She also showed how little trust she had in me by insinuating that I knew she was the target for the double eviction and chose not to tell her.
2) Getting rid of Angie would have given the next two evictees a 50% chance to come right back in.
3) Evicting Angie would have disposed of someone who will never target me. Angie's only connections in this game are to me and Jace.
4) Victoria has a tight bond with Nick and this was an opportunity to break them up.
What happened in the fast forward will set the course for the next few weeks. I've tried to maneuver through this game by having strong connections with the other houseguests and I knew when setting up the feud between Victoria/Nick/Caleb & Jace/Casey that I was going to play a major role in deciding which side ends up with bigger numbers. Evicting Victoria was me choosing my original alliance with the boys. The game is always changing and who knows who's still going to be here next week, but for now, I can't stay attached to the group that was created for the sole purpose of shooting at Jace/Casey so I didn't have to. With a man down, they don't offer enough protection for me to pour my heart into it. I'll keep the doors open, like I do with everyone in this game, but Jace, Jason, and Steve make up a stronger, healthier group.
My relationship with Jace also surpasses my relationship with everybody else, with the exception of maybe Caleb, which is part of the reason why I decided to send Victoria home. Jace and I really understand each other and I know we can continue to be a force in the house.
