Julie and Arisa, this has absolutely nothing to do with the game and absolutely everything to do with the people in it, but this past round was so dull. When Caleb made his nominations, everyone knew what was going to happen. Jessie was the clear target, we've all wanted him out since like day three, and if he didn't win the veto he was done. So all the houseguests took it as a free week and the social aspect of this game seriously declined.
I'm hoping things pick up this round - with an exciting live Head of Household competition tonight and no house target, it looks promising. I was talking to Jace and we both think it could be an eliminator style competition where you choose two people to go head to head against each other. That type of comp has the potential to stir things up and honestly? We need a little bit of that right now.

Rachel's playing a terrible social game. In the last 24 hours, both Da'Vonne and Angie have told me that if they win Head of Household this week, they're nominating her. Well Angie can't because she's on her team but she said she would if she could. It's weird because Jace told me she came to him and said nobody talks to her. Yet according to these people, they try and she eventually disappears.
Maybe there is a target this week, after all.

Angie Swindell (20:30:37): honestly Britney, i'm a little desperate in this game My only true allegiance is with Jace haha Angie Swindell (20:30:52): and i guess its understandable since i came in late Angie Swindell (20:31:16): but i seriously trust you and would love to make some sort of deal or maybe an alliance with you
She then went on to ask me for a final three alliance with Jace.
Angie Swindell (20:35:10): and honestly i would love to bring Jace and you in for maybe a final 3 alliance? I'm not sure how he would feel about that but i think he would like it since all he has said is good things about you Angie Swindell (20:35:20): Same goes to you girl! I love to talk to you Angie Swindell (20:35:30): Like we bounce off each other real well Britney Haynes (20:36:36): if jace is cool with that, then i'm in. we can do that really cheesy "hands in" moment.
At this point, the only person I don't have any ties with is Rachel. And I'm not nervous about it. I'm not worried about turning on people or getting "caught" because the great thing about most of these alliances is that they didn't start with me. Every single time, with the exception of Caleb, I was the one approached with the idea.
Steve approached me on day one. I just happened to convince him to branch out later.
Nick and Victoria approached me.
Renny approached me.
Da'Vonne approached me.
Casey approached me.
Angie approached me.
It can't fall back on me because I haven't been the one initiating these allegiances and I have the proof to back it up if I ever need to. Even if I want to align with someone, I get the conversation to the point where it becomes their idea, not mine. Every decision I make in this game, I make sure to cover my ass.

So far, every round, we've all just happily went along with the HoH and respected their wishes in regards to the eviction. It's not in my best interest to do that this time. If nominations stay the same, I really need to push for Kevin to go instead of Da'Vonne. I feel like Kevin's the type of player who will throw anyone under the bus to further himself in the game and I think he has trouble keeping his mouth shut. The Laura and Jessie argument started because he went and told her Jessie was talking shit about her and I know for a fact he's blabbed to Steve about Day. Bottom line, he can't be trusted. He's also effing boring.
My goal is to convince people that keeping Da'Vonne in the game is beneficial. She's mouthy, loud, obnoxious, and will always be on someone's radar. She's the perfect shield in this game and letting Kevin slide by while he continues to play under the radar is dangerous. Plus, if he wanted to, he could potentially rat out that joke of an alliance Day suggested to me/Caleb and try to make it seem like it was legitimate.
Caleb's on board to get rid of Kevin and Renny told me she wanted Kevin out without being prompted. This gives me a lot to go off of when talking to other houseguests. Instead of starting off with my own opinion, I can make it seem like Kevin's the name I'm repeatedly hearing. Then I'll throw in my own two cents.
Da'Vonne .... don't move ... stay put ... keep that mouth shut ... and don't screw this up.
