That HOH could NOT have been closer! I want to kick myself for not going low on my tie-break answer. STEVE, C'MON! I just went between 68 & 76 and it's so ironic the answer was 68. Never in a million years did I ever expect to get that far in a Majority Rules Comp and have it come down to a TB. LOL that Caleb read it wrong but won.
I feel pretty good with Caleb. I just saw noms and they're what I expected. He told me Angie last night but then I heard through Britney it was also going to be Jessie. I'm fine with those two noms. They're safe, early game noms. I'm going to work on them both so I'm good with whoever stays. Anyone can win the comps we've had so far so I can't get lazy and complacent with my position in the house.
I had a chat with Day last night. Nothing heavy, no past tension addressed. Just a light-hearted chat which isn't a bad thing. I have some targets in the house and I know she is a pitbull just chomping at the bit to make a big move. She needs to be MY pitbull, though, so I need to be smarter about my communication with her. I already know she went to Britney to make an alliance for herself and Kevin. It's good to have this info and, while I really don't trust either Day or Kevin, at least I have a connection with them and am currently on their team.
The alliance with Britney, Jace and Jason is also proving to be great. I can't believe the 3 of us who were eligible to compete made it as far as we did. Caleb was like a dog with a bone and he just wouldn't let go, though, lol! It's okay, though. Britney is safe being on Caleb's team and if Jace, Jason and I make it through this week unscathed that just means we can compete in the next HOH and didn't have to piss off anyone by putting them up. I hope I get drawn for veto. I know I should want to be more under the radar, especially since I came so close to winning that HOH, but I just want to play!
