Congratulations on making it into the Big Brother: Defiance house! We witnessed new auditions and we decided that this group would be the best fit for the opening season of the series. All competitions are written down week-to-week and all twists (and events) are predetermined. This series serves an authentic feel like no other. Before any house events begin, we would like to establish some additional rules (and elaborate). We've updated some rules from the first season.
AIM
AIM is how you communicate with your fellow houseguests.
Alias
This game is completely ALIAS; do not talk about your identity to any of the houseguest at any time. Do not try solve any houseguest alias.
Activity
Each houseguest is expected to stay active throughout their stay in the Big Brother house and the Jury house. If you do not login after 48 hours from your last login date, we will remove you from the game - unless a notice is/was given.Ceremonies
The Head of Household and Veto holder has 24 hours to post his/her nominations/Veto decision.
Cheating
Any cheating whatsoever will result in automatic expulsion. Hacking, fake and multiple accounts, forging, photo editing results, etc. Do not attempt it.
Communication
Once a houseguest is evicted, do not communicate with he/she. The evicted houseguest will have one minute (one post) at eviction to speak his/her final words before exiting the game.
Competitions
Each competition will be either be live or 24 hour to start/complete. The competitions will be completed on the board or on AIM messenger.
Expulsion
We have the power to expel a houseguest from the game. Although we do not want to remove a houseguest, we will enforce it in case following happens: any type of cheating, if you're not participating in competitions/ceremonies, and if you've gone inactive from the board.
Eviction
The houseguests that are eligible to vote will have 24 hours to cast his/her vote to evict either nominees. The Head of Household will only cast a vote to evict in an event of a tie.
Have-Not
There are no Have-Nots this season.
Jury House
We will admit the jury house will a bit boring as the jurors will be cut off from the house completely. The jurors will find out about house events when the newly evicted juror enters the jury house with the week events summary. Please remain active if you become a juror; join the game discussion.
My Evict List
We ask you to keep an updated boot list inside your Diary Room to avoid a no-vote. This is an optional game tip.
Participation
In addition to being active during the game, it is important to participant in all competitions, all ceremonies, and board events.
Quitting/Expelled
If you quit the game at any time, you will be automatically banned from the series.
Scenarios
Head of Household
The Head of Household will have the duty of nominating two houseguests for eviction. At the end of the week, one of the two final nominees will be evicted from the Big Brother house. If at any time, someone other than the two nominees quits or is removed, then the eviction will still stand. If one of the two nominees has quit or removed then eviction will be canceled and we will proceed with the next week.
