I sincerely apologize for my lack of DR this week! I was seeing Taylor Swift in Nashville to it's a valid excuse, okay?
ANYWAYS, things are finally heating up!! I'm exhausted so I can't go into too much detail at the moment (I'll fill y'all in more tomorrow) but my suspicions about Britney have finally come to light. I've been planting little seeds (obviously, probably so discretely that the people I planted said seeds in won't remember) that Britney is someone to watch out for. Well, in Nick's scrambling to get votes to save him, he and Casey realize that Brit has an alliance with pretty much everyone in the house. Thus, Casey told Jace and I of this (telling me it has to stay between us because he trusts me the most), Nick tells me about this (saying the sme thing about trusting me the most) and then Caleb is informed and we thus form the #BritneyRejects. The plan is to vote Angie out, instead of Nick. Steve wants Nick gone, but it is becoming so apparent that Steve and Britney are trying to run the show, so we're taking a stand. Jace and I also compared notes, and we discovered that we're both also aligned with Steve/Jason, and we've decided to keep that info to ourselves for now, because I said it would be good to have as ammunition at a later date if we need to buy ourselves another week or two.
The BEST part about this is I'm also aligned with pretty much everyone, and I'm just lucky that Britney got found out first. I'd like to think it's because I've been more discreet about it. I haven't been trying to run the alliances I'm in. Instead, I've been focusing on the social aspect, making sure they like me and want to tell me things, and kind of let them run the show instead of me running the show. At the moment, it seems to be working in my favor. The thing that scares me, though, is that this vote could easily blow up in my face. I'll be pissing off Brit/Steve/Jason, three of my allies. However, we're getting rid of a floater/pawn who doesn't really have a great shot at coming back (sorry Ang <3) and we're finally taking this game in our own hands instead of letting Brit and Steve run it.
Honestly I think I'm the one who's most wary of Steve right now. Everyone is on the Britney Hate Train at the moment, but I'm trying to think towards the future. If I'm going to make this move, then I've got to make sure I'm 100% going all in with Casey/Jace, and Nick. Steve has told me in the past that I'm his number one, but I truly have my doubts. The person I'm most concerned with upsetting is Jason, because I think he is the one that is most loosely tied to that group. I'm going to try to work on him tomorrow, maybe he'll see the light. I've gotta keep it subtle though.
With this move in play, I'll be able to place the blame on Nick/Casey in the future if I have to because, in all reality, they're the ones who organized it. I'm trying to set this up to where I get the least amount of heat as possible. Britney will go after Casey (she's had it out for him for rounds anyways), Steve will wanna continue to go after Nick since he's already put him up, etc. My little seeds have sprouted and nobody is going to remember that little ole Renny is the one who planted those seeds of doubt. I've just gotta keep playing nice guy. I think people may view me as someone who isn't doing a lot of strategizing at this point, but I think my best bet is to lay low, play nice, and gather my ammunition for the finale so that I can take home the prize. If people like me, they see that I was playing the game, and they can respect my more UTR strategic style, then I think I could pull out a W. I know it's early to be thinking about that, but now's the time to start planning ahead.
